Lake Country CCS Cutback Yellow – cutting pad for DA and orbital

The CCS Cutback Yellow is the most aggressive pad in Lake Country's CCS line, designed exclusively for DA (Dual Action) and Random Orbital polishers. It utilizes patented CCS technology, which consists of partially closed cells strategically placed on the pad's surface. These cells capture and release the compound in a controlled manner, rather than absorbing it immediately like conventional foam. The thin, tapered design with a recessed Velcro backing (cutback) prevents the backing plate from touching the surface and facilitates centering.

Como Usar

Passo 1

Center the pad on the backing plate and apply 4 to 5 dots of cutting compound to the pad's face, distributing it between the cells.

Passo 2

Distribute the product evenly at a low speed before increasing it, to prevent splashing and ensure uniform coverage

Passo 3

Work the section with overlapping passes at medium-high speed, without excessive pressure, allowing the cells to release the compound gradually

Passo 4

Remove residues with a clean microfibre cloth and inspect the result under direct light or with an inspection lamp.

No. This pad was designed exclusively for DA and Random Orbital polishers. The thin (22 mm) design and recessed velcro are optimised for orbital movement. For rotary and forced rotation machines, Lake Country has the Force range.

The Yellow pad is the most aggressive in the CCS line, but the combination with a DA polisher naturally limits its aggressiveness compared to a rotary. Still, if your paint has thin or soft clear coat, start with the CCS Orange and evaluate if it's sufficient before moving on to the Yellow.

Yes. CCS Yellow is the cutting pad and will leave a light haze on the surface. Complete the process with a CCS Orange (light cutting) or CCS White (polishing) pad and a fine polish for a clean, mark-free finish.
