Thick, dense microfiber pile bonnet over a medium density foam with dual layer HDO (Heavy Duty Orbital) construction. Bevelled profile for anti-rolling and access to tight areas. Vented center hole for heat dissipation. Specifically designed for long-throw orbital polishers. Light to medium cutting with a high-gloss finish. Available in various sizes.

How to Use

Step 1

Attach the pad centrally to the orbital polisher and apply drops of one-step polish onto the microfiber.

Step 2

Distribute at low speed in crossed movements over the working area.

Step 3

Work at medium speed with light to moderate pressure until the polish becomes transparent

Step 4

Remove residues with a soft microfiber cloth and evaluate the results under inspection light

The Microfiber Cutting pad has a blue (firm) foam interface and more aggressive microfiber for heavy cutting. The HDO OSP pad has medium density foam, plush microfiber, and the HDO bevelled profile combines correction with finishing in one step, rather than prioritising maximum cutting. Use the Cutting pad when you need raw cutting power, and the OSP pad when you want to get everything done at once.

The HDO line was specifically optimized for long-throw orbital machines, with the dual layer and weight balanced for this type of movement. It works on normal DAs, but you won't get the most out of the HDO construction. If you use a short-throw DA, the SDO version or the standard Microfiber Cutting might be more suitable for your machine's behavior.

When the defect is too deep for the light to medium cut of the OSP such as deep scratches, sanding marks, or severe oxidation. In these cases, start with the Microfiber Cutting or blue SDO and heavy compound as the first step, and then use the HDO OSP or black SDO for refining. The OSP excels in regular maintenance, swirls, light oxidation, and quick corrections where time is the scarcest resource.
