From Polished Headlight to Protected Headlight in Minutes

Polish and Sealant in One Product

Unlike a traditional process that requires a finishing polish followed by a separate sealant or coating, HLP2 combines the two functions with integrated carnauba wax, saving an entire step in the restoration.

Protect the Acrylic You Just Restored

Without protection, PMMA acrylic yellows and opacifies within a few months of UV exposure. The carnauba layer of HLP2 seals the surface and significantly prolongs the restoration results.

Remove P2000 Sanding Marks with a Crystalline Finish

If you sanded up to P2000 grit or if there were micro-scratches from HLP1, HLP2 eliminates them and delivers a high-gloss, transparent finish that restores the headlight's original light projection.

Headlight Polish 2 HLP2 – finishing polish and sealant for acrylic headlights

Machine polish for finishing with integrated sealant effect from carnauba wax, designed to create a high-gloss finish on pre-treated PMMA acrylic headlights. Removes sanding marks from P2000 grit. Use as a second step after Headlight Polish 1 for a complete result.

How to Use

Step 1

Shake the bottle and confirm that the headlight has already been treated with Headlight Polish 1 or sanded to P2000 before proceeding

Step 2

Apply HLP2 to a pad and spread in a cross-hatch pattern with a rotary polisher at medium speed.

Step 3

Work the surface with medium pressure and monitor the temperature using the Thermo Pad, which changes colour above 45 °C.

Step 4

Remove residues with a soft microfiber cloth and check the shine and clarity under direct light.

FAQs

It depends on the condition of the headlight. If it's only slightly hazy or has fine scratches up to P2000, you can use HLP2 alone to polish and seal. But if the headlight is very yellowed or severely opaque, HLP1 is needed first to perform the heavy cutting that HLP2 alone cannot.

It depends on sun exposure, weather conditions, and washing frequency. To maintain the results for longer, you can periodically reapply HLP2 as a maintenance treatment or supplement it with an external UV protection sealant.

PMMA acrylic is a heat-sensitive thermoplastic material. Above 40–45 °C, the surface may deform, fog up, or create permanent marks.
