Wool Cut with Foam Finish

Cuts like lambskin, finishes like foam

The patented nanofoam process encapsulates wool fibres with polyurethane foam micro-particles, creating a pad that removes P1500 sand scratches and finishes with a lustrous gloss instead of the usual haze from natural wool

No Pilling, No Caking, No Variations

The foam base keeps the fibers evenly spaced and prevents them from flattening or clumping with the compound, something that constantly happens with natural lamb wool pads and that reduces the cut mid-session.

It works in Rotary, DA, and Forced Rotation

Available in longer pile variants for rotary and forced DA, and shorter pile variants optimized for orbital polishers, making it one of the most versatile cutting pads on the market, regardless of the machine you use

Lake Country Purple Foamed Wool – nanofoam lamb's wool cutting pad

Lambswool pad with patented nanofoam process that encapsulates the base of the fibres with polyurethane foam microparticles. Removes P1500 sanding marks with a glossy, haze-free finish. Matting-resistant fibres with integrated cushioning. Consistent and uniform manufacturing quality. Compatible with rotary, DA and forced rotation. Available in various sizes.

How to Use

Step 1

Centre the pad on the polisher plate and apply drops of cutting compound onto the fibers.

Step 2

Distribute at low speed in cross movements to impregnate the fibers before starting

Step 3

Work at medium speed with firm pressure until the defect disappears and the compound becomes transparent.

Step 4

Clean the fibers with a bristle brush or compressed air, and refine with a foam pad and fine polish.

FAQs

The blue SDO is the most aggressive foam pad in the lineup, but the Purple Foamed Wool goes even further. When facing P1500 sanding marks, deep scratches on hard clear coats, or severe oxidation that foam pads cannot remove in a few passes, the nanofoam wool delivers the extra cut you need. And unlike traditional wool, the finish is clean enough to require less refining work.

Significantly less. The nanofoam process encapsulates the base of the fibers and holds them firmly in place, which dramatically reduces loose lint and fiber residue on the paint. It's not zero, but the difference from a conventional lamb's wool pad is very noticeable in terms of cleanliness during work.

In most cases, a single pass with a fine polishing pad like the Force White or CCS White is enough for a perfect finish. The Purple Foamed Wool leaves much less haze than conventional wool, which significantly reduces the refinement work.
