Maximum Cut without Sacrificing Safety

Cutting Performance that Lasts from Start to Finish

Unlike cutting pads that soften and lose aggressiveness with temperature, Force Grey's foam resists collapsing with heat and maintains a constant cutting level throughout the entire pass.

Fewer Passes to Remove Severe Defects

While with a conventional cutting pad you need to insist multiple times on the same area, the super dense construction of the Force Grey keeps the compound on the work surface and removes heavy oxidation, scratches, and marring with fewer passes

Versatility in Hard Varnishes and Hot Climates

Instead of changing pads when the temperature rises or when you encounter a more resistant ceramic clear coat, Force Grey is designed to maintain performance precisely in these conditions, where other pads would fail first.

Lake Country Force Hybrid Gray – heavy cutting pad

The Force Hybrid Grey is the most aggressive pad in Lake Country's Force range. It uses Hybrid Foam technology with small cells and an extremely dense and firm construction, designed to resist heat and pressure without losing shape. This foam was added to the Force line as a direct response to the need for a heavy cutting pad that would not give out under demanding conditions. It can be "softened" before first use by soaking it in warm water and spin-drying.

How to Use

Step 1

Center the pad on the backing plate and apply 4 to 5 dots of cutting compound to the pad's face, plus one dot to the work area.

Step 2

Distribute the product through the section at low speed before increasing the rotation, to ensure coverage and prevent splashing.

Step 3

Work the section with overlapping passes at medium-high speed, keeping the machine in constant motion and without excessive pressure.

Step 4

Remove residues with a clean microfiber cloth and inspect the result under direct light or with an inspection lamp.

FAQs

This pad was designed for severe corrections and works well on hard and ceramic clear coats. On very soft or thin paints, the aggressiveness may be excessive. In that case, start with the Force Orange and assess if it's sufficient before moving on to the Grey.

It is normal for a heavy cutting pad to leave a light haze on the surface after correction. This haze is part of the process and is easily removed with a refining pass using a softer pad and a finishing polish.

Yes, the foam is intentionally firm to withstand heat and pressure. If you prefer a slightly softer feel initially, immerse the pad in warm water for a few minutes and spin dry. This process will not reduce cutting ability.

Yes, all orders include a tracking number which will be emailed to you after the order has been shipped.

You can return it up to 14 days after receiving it at home. The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging.
