Unlike manual application, which depends on your pressure and movement, the CCS Black distributes waxes, sealants, and glazes with the mechanical consistency of your DA, ensuring a thin and even layer on each panel.

Lake Country CCS Cutback Black – finishing pad for DA and orbital

The CCS Cutback Black is the finishing pad in Lake Country's CCS range, the least aggressive of the entire line. It uses an extremely soft urethane foam, with enough body firmness to withstand pressure during finishing without deforming. The patented CCS technology keeps the product on the pad's surface for longer, and the pockets prevent overheating and skipping even during extended sessions. The thin, tapered design with recessed velcro (cutback) prevents the backing plate from contacting the paint.

Como Usar

Passo 1

Centre the pad on the backing plate and apply a moderate amount of sealant, wax, glaze or finishing polish to the face of the pad.

Passo 2

Distribute the product through the section at low speed before starting the pass, to ensure a thin layer from the beginning.

Passo 3

Work the section with overlapping passes at low to medium speed, without pressure, allowing the foam and cells to distribute the product.

Passo 4

Wipe away the residue with a soft microfiber cloth and inspect the depth and clarity of the finish under direct light

The machine guarantees a uniform distribution that cannot be replicated by hand. The CCS Black applied with DA spreads the product evenly, with constant pressure and total coverage, which results in a thinner, more uniform, and more durable protective layer.

Both are finishing pads from Lake Country, but for different machines. The CCS Black is thin (22 mm), with CCS pockets, for DA and orbital polishers. The Force Black is thicker (32 mm), with dense hybrid foam, for rotary and forced rotation polishers. The function is the same, the format adapts to the type of machine.

The foam is firm enough to help reduce very slight buffer swirls when combined with a finishing polish. It is not a correcting pad, but finishing with controlled pressure can refine these marks. For more visible buffer swirls, use the CCS White or Green before the Black.
